About us / Meet Our Team
Dr. Lindsay Spears DDS
I am blessed to be the dentist at Carolina Crossroads Dental Care. I am originally from Lenoir, NC and I live with my wonderful husband, Brandon, and the sweetest dog in the world, Reese. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Dental Hygiene and then continued at the UNC School of Dentistry to achieve my doctorate in 2013. I am such a dental nerd. I love teeth and learning more and more about the ever-changing world of dentistry. In my free time, you can find me in continuing education courses or with my family. I was so fortunate in purchasing Dr. Ketchie's practice because I inherited the best team. Everyone is so fun, positive and cares so much for each and every patient. I am very excited to see what the future holds for us here at CCDC and I hope that includes you!
Tammy - Receptionist
I am originally from Hawaii but North Carolina has been my home for the last 35 years. I am lucky to be married to Jaime Waiwaiole and have two wonderful sons, Justin and Sean. God has blessed me with my family and some really, really great friends. I feel lucky to be a part of helping Dr. Spears start this new chapter in her life. There is a new contagious energy that makes all the staff want to do our best for her. I have to say that I am a very lucky lady!
Alison - Registered Dental Hygienist
I graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I have enjoyed practicing at this office for seventeen years. Getting to know my patients and earning their trust is very important to me. I want you to have a feeling of comfort and calm when you come in for treatment. My husband Chuck and I have two wonderful boys that we adore. When I’m away from work I enjoying cheering them on at sporting events, volunteering at their school and our church, and spending down time at home. Family is important to me and I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families also!

I am a Troutman/Statesville native. I am a 1989 graduate of South Iredell High School after which I set off to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene. I received my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in May of 1992 from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. I am blessed to be married to Mark Elliott and the mother to two beautiful girls, Madison and Merritt. I've been very blessed to be a part of this practice for 18 years. I love getting to know my patients and their families. Helping give them healthy smiles to share with each other is a joy that makes my job one to smile about! "It costs nothing to give someone a smile."
Michelle - Dental Assistant II
I am happily married to Matthew Hix and have the honor of being the mother of two wonderful kids, Scout and Riley. I love my job and the office I work in. Not everybody is lucky enough to get to work with five of their best friends. In my free time, I am very active in my church and community and love to be outside. I am so fortunate to be a part of a growing practice and I look forward to all the experiences to be had with my coworkers as well as with the patients I have yet to meet!
Lori - Dental Assistant II
I have worked in the dental field for over 25 years and love my job! When I was young and had to go to the dentist, I was terrified! I was the one that would cry the whole time I was in the dental chair. After having my second child, I decided to go back to school and, surprisingly, decided on dental assisting. This helped me overcome my fear and has made me enjoy helping anxious patients get through their dental procedures. I graduated from Grayson College Dental Assisting in 1983. I love what I do and the people I have gotten to know over the years. I have been blessed to have some awesome ladies to call my coworkers and my friends. In my free time, I enjoy riding motorcycles with my husband, camping and spending time with my family and friends.
